It is our mission to provide web site hosting for everyone and to make it as easy as possible for new businesses and opensource projects to find the hosting that they need at a price that does not hurt your pocket.

We are none profit organisation, that means that all our profit goes back into the business and allows us to purchase new equipment and provide better and new service for our customers.

Tempest Solutions was originally a software house back in 1997 and has developed and grown to a website design and hosting company offering our design customers hosting and email services, we have also taken steps to become a none profit, any profit is put back into the company to grow and expand our infrastructure.

In 2023 we decided to open our hosting services to the general public and are working towards that goal, this will take some time to implement as we are in talks with our ISP’s (uplinks) to offer better and ongoing services.

To achieve the lowest carbon footprint as possible we have put in place the following:

1. 1. Our energy provider uses 100% renewable sources.
   2. Our 1st backup energy source is solar and battery bank’s lasting up to 5 days, giving the electricity provider time to get the power back up.
   3. If the blackout lasts longer than 5 days we have a hydrogen powered generator that uses green produced hydrogen.

We are also implementing the following:

Using heat –  Heat generated from our equipment to preheat the domestic hot water and central heating of our premises.

Using grey water – Water collected from when it rains can be used flush the toilets, clean windows and more, we aim to put a system into our premises to save tens of thousands of litres of water per year
